Aishah Hasnie’s steady rise at Fox News just reached a new milestone, and it happened live on air.
During a Friday morning broadcast of Fox & Friends, the network briefly paused its regular programming to announce that Aishah Hasnie will officially anchor Fox News Live on weekends, marking a notable weekend lineup change and a significant step forward for the longtime correspondent.
The announcement, delivered by Ainsley Earhardt, alongside Brian Kilmeade and Griff Jenkins, immediately shifted the focus to Hasnie, a familiar and well-known face to Fox News viewers.
A New Chapter at Fox News
Hasnie will anchor Fox News Live on Saturdays from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m., bringing her reporting experience and on-camera confidence to a national weekend audience.
Her debut broadcast is set to include high-profile guests such as John Thune, Marty Makary, Tom Cotton, and the hosts of the Ruthless.
From Overnight Anchor to Weekend Role
For longtime viewers, the promotion feels earned. Hasnie joined Fox News in 2019 and has worn many hats since — from overnight anchor in New York to congressional and senior national correspondent based in Washington, D.C.
“I was an overnight anchor just like you, Ainsley!” Hasnie reminded Earhardt during the broadcast.
