🔥 “Dutton Ranch” – A new era of Yellowstone begins, and the cast stuns fans!
Paramount+ is preparing to release the Dutton Ranch spinoff, where Rip and Beth (Cole Hauser and Kelly Reilly) establish a new life in Texas and face scheming neighbors, including Beulah (Annette Bening) and her assistant Joaquin (Juan Pablo Raba). But what shocked fans the most was that the new cast had absolutely no direct contact with Taylor Sheridan, the creator of Yellowstone, during filming!
Marc Menchaca – who plays Zachariah, a character recently released from prison – revealed that he had to bring his cowboy skills to the role, participating in horseback riding, lassoing scenes, and even practicing “cowboy camp” with an extremely complex challenge: balancing an egg on a spoon while riding a horse! He said:
“I felt like I was attending a very strict cowboy school, but it was a lot of fun.”
Sterlin English – the actor playing a new ranch hand – benefits from his real-life cowboy background, having ridden horses and roping since childhood. Meanwhile, James Eddie shared that weighing eggs while riding a horse was a challenging task, but it added drama and humor to the scenes.
Juan Pablo Raba, playing Joaquin, despite not being outdoors, learns daily from Annette Bening, whom he describes as “an expensive acting class every day”:
“Sometimes I have to call my wife and say, ‘I just got paid to go to acting class today.’”
Cole Hauser, in addition to his role as Rip Wheeler, is now also the executive producer, helping to guide new actors and connect with the world of Yellowstone. Menchaca shared that Hauser’s role is like a reliable shoulder to lean on, both guiding cowboy skills and inspiring the script.
Dutton Ranch promises intense action, fierce family conflicts, and dramatic suspense.
