Former Coronation Street star Ryan Thomas is enjoying a holiday to the Turkish region of Antalya with his family as they make the most of half term. While on holiday, Ryan said he noticed a major change in his children.
Sharing a post on Instagram, the Jason Grimshaw star said: “This is the first year on holiday I’ve seen drastic change in my kids getting older. Watching them grow into there little characters is fascinating.”
Offering an insight into what his daughter is like, Ryan said: “Lilah with her new found sass wanting to have lip gloss and handbags do everything mummy does and annoyingly wanting mummy more than me but still giving the best cuddles and kisses out of all my children.”
He also shared a heartfelt message for his son Roman, saying he is: “[Five] going on 13 proper little man now bowling around like he owns the gaff with his new best mate Ruben but more independent getting himself ready in the morning.”
The actor added “he does everything with a cheeky mischievous smile on his face loves to push the boundaries but I love it.” The TV star is a dad-of-three and shares his eldest daughter Scarlett with fellow Coronation Street star Tina O’Brien, and other children Roman and Lilah with his partner Lucy Mecklenburgh. Scarlett celebrated her 17th birthday on Sunday, October 26.
To mark the birthday, the proud dad said: “My first born is 17 today,she can drive please help me! Happy birthday fathead love you angel”
Sarah Platt star Tina O’Brien shared her own message for her daughter. She captioned a picture of the two: “Happy birthday to my little chicken, my darling girl.
“I still remember putting the clocks back before heading to bed, heavy, pregnant, way overdue wondering if tonight would be the night.
“And when it was… the moment I met you, it felt like I’d already known you forever. You’ve brought laughter, light, and magic into my life every single day since. I’m so proud of the incredible young woman you’re becoming.”
A number of Coronation Street stars left birthday messages for Waterloo Road star, Scarlett. Lucy Fallon posted “Happy Birthday gorgeous Scarlett” and Natalie Anderson commented “Aw gorgeous! Happy Birthday Scarlett!”
Scarlett responded to her mum, saying: “I love you mum so much” and fans also sent supportive messages. One fan said “The years have flown by. Happy 17th birthday hope you have a great day.”
Another said: “Happy 17th Birthday Scarlett have the best day, which I’m sure you will, your a beautiful young lady who has a stunning voice and you will go far in life.”
