SARAH PLATT PRISON NIGHTMARE CONFIRMED CORONATION STREET WILL NEVER BE THE SAME

Coronation Street Spoiler: Sarah Platt Arrest Shocker As Police Finally Close In On Theo Murder

Sarah Platt luck has officially run out. Next week on Coronation Street a major breakthrough in the Theo Silverton murder case sees the beloved Platt favourite arrested in dramatic fashion and dragged in for questioning by DS Connor Swain.

Despite every desperate move from her fiance DS Kit Green to keep her safe, the evidence refuses to disappear. Sarah is taken into custody and faces a brutal interrogation while terrified she could spend the rest of her life behind bars. And as the walls close in on her, the investigation suddenly swings toward Gary Windass.

The Arrest That Leaves The Platts Stunned

According to a Corrie insider Sarah is paralysed with fear when officers arrive to arrest her in front of the entire Platt family.

Part of her has been expecting this moment the source reveals. She never truly believed she could get away with murder. But when the cuffs actually go on and she is hauled in for questioning terror takes over completely.

Prior to the arrest Kit is still clinging to one last hope, that police will pivot to Gary. He is convinced there is more than enough material to link Sarah former flame to the crime and spare her from prison.

That hope dies quickly. When Kit tries to quietly pump colleague McLaughlin for inside information he is shut down immediately. Soon after Kit has to deliver devastating news to Sarah. If her wedding outfit has been sent for forensic testing it is game over.

To make matters worse fellow officer Lisa calls Kit out for letting his personal life cloud his judgement.

Kit Warned To Stop Protecting Sarah As Lisa Closes The Case

Lisa is now certain she has identified the right culprit but she does understand why Kit is so desperate to keep Sarah out of jail the insider continues. Their working relationship is tense at the best of times but Lisa is fair enough to give Kit some free and very blunt advice. Stop covering for Sarah and start thinking about your own career and your future. Whether Kit listens is another matter.

While Sarah protests her innocence under relentless pressure, another interrogation is happening on the other side of Weatherfield. This time Gary is the one in the hot seat and his wife Maria Connor is asking the questions.

Maria was already terrified her husband was tangled up in the murder. Next week she finds hard proof he lied about where he was that night.

Maria Connor Photo Discovery Blows Gary False Alibi Apart

Maria stumbles across a picture taken by Sally Metcalfe on the night of the murder. The image clearly shows Gary on Coronation Street at the exact time he swore he never left the builder yard. In an instant Maria realises the false alibi she gave him is worthless and could be disproved in seconds, putting them both at risk.

Maria gave Gary that alibi because she believed him but he has lied over and over our source explains. She is not prepared to go to prison for providing a false alibi and leave their children with neither parent. In fact she is ready to throw Gary under the bus right now to protect herself.

As Gary frantically begs Maria to stick by him Sarah is forced to make an impossible choice while on remand in prison.

In a stunning turn Lisa is left speechless when Sarah finally admits she killed Theo and walks through the horror of that night in detail. The question is will she tell the whole truth and expose Gary role in covering it up?

Prison Confession Puts Gary Fate In Sarah Hands

Sarah life will change forever once she confesses there is no going back the informant confirms. Gary freedom is now entirely in her hands and she is the only person who can save him. They are both in this up to their necks but Sarah holds the ultimate power over what happens next.
