Newsreader Dermot Murnaghan Reveals Stage 4 Cancer Diagnosis: “I Can’t Take This Lying Down”

Newsreader Dermot Murnaghan has revealed he has been diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer.

The broadcaster, 67, is best known for presenting several news programmes over the years on the BBC, Sky and Channel 4. He fronted BBC Breakfast between 2002 and 2007. He hosted the quiz show Eggheads too, between 2003 and 2014, before Jeremy Vine took over.
