The Elixir, also known for its original title, Abadi nan Jaya, is an Indonesian film that tells us the story of a dysfunctional family with a father who has entered into a new relationship with a woman whom his children did not like. But things changed as it was revealed that the father was obsessed with looking youthful and began drinking an odd herbal medicine, which in turn, transformed him into a mad, cannibalistic monster, spreading his infection through biting others.
