Elizabeth Rizzini forecasts blustery winds and showers
Weather presenter Elizabeth Rizzini shared her horror after an incident at Wimbledon. The meteorologist, who presents the forecast on BBC London News, revealed a beverage had landed over her.
The mum-of-two recalled the moment she was left unimpressed at Wimbledon.
Elizabeth often presents the  weather forecast at the annual event which she admittedly loves to front.
The on-screen broadcaster admitted security had to step in following the incident.
Elizabeth explained: âAt Wimbledon, somebody poured a load of Pimms over me. I was really annoyed about it.

âNot live on-air but in the dress rehearsal.â
She continued: âThe following year they were checking peopleâs bags to see how much alcohol they were bringing in. It was a party year that one.
âSome guy thought it would be really funny to pour his drink over me so I was a bit wet when we went on-air.â
As the on-screen star delivered her weather update, Elizabeth said security was soon on hand.

Elizabeth explained: âI do currently work at a regional level but I would love to do it at a national level. I havenât been asked.â
The regional forecaster addressed her colleague Owain Wyn Evans, who has replaced Carol Kirkwood in the weekend slots on BBC Breakfast.
Elizabeth is âvery excitedâ for him but added itâs âdifficult for me to get noticedâ.
âOwain Wyn Evans is based in Salford so heâs done [BBC Breakfast],â she commented.
âHeâs in a very good position to do it and he doesnât have to move anywhere.â
She went on: âEveryone loves him and weâre all excited for him. Heâs really enjoying it.â
She added: âIâm based in London. It will be more difficult for me to get noticed.â
