Trump arrived in China on Wednesday with a heavyweight delegation including Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and billionaire tech mogul Elon Musk.
Business chiefs, including Apple CEO Tim Cook and Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, also traveled with the delegation as the White House pushes for a fresh economic reset with China.

On Monday, Trump said, “President Xi would like us not to.”
Taiwanese Deputy Foreign Minister Francois Wu previously warned, “What we are the most afraid is to put Taiwan on the menu of the talk between Xi Jinping and President Trump.
“We worry, and we need to avoid that it happens.”
China has steadily ramped up pressure on Taiwan in recent years, with Xi declaring in January that “reunification” with the island is “unstoppable.”
