Coronation Street Bombshell Jodie Ramsey Finally Exposed As Trinket Box Secret Blows Up
We know we have said it before but this time it really looks like Jodie Ramsey played by Olivia Frances Brown is about to be exposed for every delightfully deranged scheme she has pulled and there is no way back.
If you are feeling frustrated you are not alone. It has been increasingly infuriating to watch Weatherfield newest bunny boiler launch one twisted plot after another and slither out of trouble every single time.
It is also wildly entertaining. This woman is no Becky Swain played by Amy Cudden. She did not rise from the grave on day one although she did make a dramatic escape from the back of a van owned by Emmerdale baddest butler Graham Foster played by Andrew Scarborough.
Since that moment the twisted sister of Shona Platt played by Julia Goulding has gone full cuckoo in the nest with a wonderfully sociopathic revenge mission to seduce her sister husband David played by Jack P Shepherd as payback for walking out on their family years ago. Calm down love.
Seduction Plot Collapses And Jodie Crawls Back To Shona
When Jodie seduction plan fell apart and David told her exactly how far off the deep end her sister really was the bitter little schemer was thrown out of the Platt house and had to find another target. That target was Daniel Osbourne played by Rob Mallard. After Daniel finally saw the Pound Shop Single White Female true colours she was forced to go cap in hand back to Shona who decided to let bygones be bygones. Lucky for Jodie.
Not so lucky for David sister Sarah Platt played by Tina O Brien who stumbled across her bizarre box of trinkets stolen from neighbours around the street.
In a panic Jodie attacked Sarah from behind on the very night Theo Silverton played by James Cartwright was killed. That cowardly attack inadvertently handed the real murderer Sarah the best possible alibi.
Sarah knows Jodie was her attacker. After discovering the box she confronted Jodie but because Jodie worked out that Sarah had lied to police about the exact timing of the assault the two women ended up in a tense stalemate.
Smoking Gun In A Box The Gun Stolen From Carl Webster
Jodie has good reason to keep that box hidden because inside is a gun. It is the very gun she stole from Carl Webster played by Jonathan Howard after his Mexican stand off in the garage with Ronnie Bailey played by Vinta Morgan Tyrone Dobbs played by Alan Halsall and Kevin played by Michael Le Vell. That theft ironically put Carl in serious danger as he had been holding the weapon for ruthless dodgy car dealer Fiona Morley played by Sara Poyzer.
Jodie box of stolen trinkets has always been a smoking gun in metaphorical terms. Now she has made it literal. If the Platts ever find that box the bunny boiling baddie is finished. And next week one of the Platts is about to come very close.
Sarah Confession Sparks Chain Reaction And Lily Finds Box
In next week episodes Sarah finally comes clean to boyfriend DS Kit Green played by Jacob Roberts who is stunned when she reveals it was Jodie who attacked her.
This being Corrie nobody keeps a secret for more than five seconds. Furious Kit immediately blabs to Shona who storms off to demand answers from Jodie. How will Jodie talk her way out of this one.
Not very well it seems. Later David and Shona visit Sarah and she tells them all about Jodie trinket box. Will they manage to track it down.
Not them but someone else. The worst possible person. David and Shona daughter and Jodie adoring niece Lily played by Grace Ashcroft Gardner. Once David and Shona are tucked up in bed Lily tiptoes downstairs looking for her console. She reaches under the sofa and pulls out Jodie trinket box.
What will she find inside. The gun. Or something even worse.
