Princess Andre has taken a subtle swipe at her mother Katie Price‘s risque modelling career – revealing the line she would never cross during her glam 18th birthday shoot.
The teenage reality star has been launched into the spotlight by her new hit ITV show The Princess Diaries, which sees her navigate life in the public eye.
As the daughter of singer Peter Andre and former page 3 pin-up girl Katie Price, Princess has had a chaotic upbringing and admitted she ‘saw things kids shouldn’t’ while growing up.
But as the rising star carves out her own career, she made a subtle jab at her mother when she revealed she would never model in the same way.
Episode four of the bombshell show sees Princess commemorate turning 18 with a glamour shoot, featuring an array of striking outfits.
After posing confidently in a sheer pink robe, Princess reflected on her own mother’s time in front of the cameras.

While modelling for her 18th birthday shoot, Princess said she would never do ‘topless’ modelling like her mum did
‘I did feel kind of in my zone. I felt like my mum,’ she gushed admiringly. ‘I saw photos of her when she was younger and it’s kind of reminding me of me.’
Princess then hesitated, before adding: ‘But obviously she did topless, and I would not do topless.’
The 18-year-old has previously emphasised how close she is to her mother, who she describes as her ‘best friend’.
But her new four-part series has reportedly sparked a feud between the mum and daughter duo, with Katie saying she is ‘upset’ that she has not been more involved.
And it’s not the first time Princess has appeared to take a jab at her celebrity mum.
Elsewhere at the show, she admitted that she goes to her stepmother Emily for advice about her love life.
‘Ems gives the best advice,’ she said. ‘I feel like if I’m ever in a situation I don’t want to talk to dad about, I’ll speak to Ems about it.’
Emily MacDonagh, 35, is 52-year-old Peter’s second wife and the pair share three children Amelia, 11, Theo, nine, and Arabella, 13 months.

Although the 18-year-old has called her mother her ‘best friend,’ she has made clear that she wants a different career

In the show, Princess admits that she is not yet ready to move on from her relationship with her former boyfriend, whose name has not been made publicly available.
Princess tells Emily that she can’t currently ‘picture’ herself with anyone else and feels ‘lost and confused’ after the split.
She says: ‘I don’t think I’m really ready to move on. Another relationship does not interest me right now.
‘Me and the ex are still in touch. We’re friends but there’s still a lot of love there.’
In response to this Emily, a doctor, tells the teenager that she does not have to move on immediately and that it will likely do her good to spend some time by herself.
She advised: ‘It’s important to have time to yourself, to find out who you are as well.
‘It’s not the right time for you, you can’t be bothered at the moment. If the right person comes along, you’ll be bothered.
‘You’ve got a lot to give to someone else. You’re a big catch.’
The revelation comes after Princess admitted she ‘saw things kids shouldn’t’ during her childhood – and is still recovering from her mother’s ‘dark times’.
Speaking during episode one of her ITV show, she told viewers: ‘I had so much on my plate at such a young age.’
Princess also described the impact her mother’s subsequent chaotic romances and lifestyle had on her growing up.
