Appearing on ITV’s Lorraine, the 43-year-old presenter opened up not only about the end of her 10-year marriage but also about a frightening health battle that saw her undergo surgery to remove two benign tumours from her jaw — just days before news of her separation became public.
“It’s been an intense year,” she admitted, holding back tears. “But I’m in a really good place now. I’m grateful, healthy, and surrounded by people who truly care.”

For the first time, Fearne spoke candidly about the heartbreak behind her divorce — and the painful betrayal she says she’ll never forget.
“I will never forgive him and the woman who made him betray me… she was my friend, and they did that,” she confessed during the interview.
It comes after Fearne gushed that she is ‘really happy’ and is ‘springing out of bed in the morning ready for life’ while speaking to Scott Mills on his BBC Radio 2 breakfast show
The emotional revelation silenced the studio audience, as Fearne’s voice trembled with honesty. Viewers flooded social media with messages of support, praising her courage for “finally speaking her truth.”
Finding Strength After the Pain
Fearne has since moved on with TV director Elliot Hegarty (pictured in September), with the pair having been seen kissing during a recent night out
Despite the heartbreak, Fearne insisted she’s moving forward with grace — crediting her two children, Rex and Honey, for giving her strength, and her friend Davina McCall for helping her through the darkest moments.
Fearne has also had a difficult few months after undergoing surgery to remove two benign tumours from her jawline, just days before her split with Jesse emerged
“Everyone needs a Davina,” she smiled. “She’s been amazing — we went through similar health scares at the same time. She’s been such a calming force.”
Fearne revealed her jaw tumours were discovered unexpectedly:
“I went for what I thought was a minor ultrasound, and it ended up being a tumour. It became major surgery. But I’m healthy now, and I’m so grateful. Please, go get those lumps checked.”
A New Chapter — and a New Love 💋
Following her divorce, Fearne has found happiness again with TV director Elliot Hegarty, who was recently seen with her in Soho. The pair were photographed holding hands and sharing a quiet kiss, a sign that she’s ready to embrace life again after years of emotional struggle.
Meanwhile, Jesse Wood — son of Rolling Stones legend Ronnie Wood — has also moved on with former actress Gemma Gregory, 39, who now works in wellness and once contributed to Fearne’s Happy Place podcast — a connection that has shocked many fans.

In a later interview with Women’s Health UK, Fearne revealed that after 12 years of motherhood and building her Happy Place brand, she’s finally prioritising joy and freedom again.
“I’ve missed having fun,” she said. “Now, in my 40s, I want more of it — dinners with friends, laughter, living without guilt. Life’s too short to keep holding back.”
Though the pain of betrayal still lingers, Fearne says she’s focusing on healing — not revenge.
“This year has reminded me that even when life falls apart, you can still rebuild something beautiful,” she concluded. “I’m stronger than I’ve ever been.”
