Scarlett Spears returned to General Hospital on September 18th as Donna Corinthos. She had a cute conversation with Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) in which they had a lighthearted discussion about how they are related. Because Donna is the daughter of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), she is the half-sister of Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), which makes her an aunt to Dante’s son, Gio. Donna called Gio her favorite nephew.
After they had fun with that, Donna helped convince Gio to stay at Sonny’s house for a while, where he chatted with Dante at a barbecue, helping thaw the ice between him and the man he learned was his dad in May.

Spears is a busy girl when she’s not in the General Hospital studio.
On her Instagram account, which is run by her mother, Sharline, Scarlett Spears has had a lot to report in recent weeks.
Recently, her mother shared that she has booked two undisclosed roles, one in a major feature film. In a post about the film, her mother wrote, “You continue to amaze me with your Love, kindness, Drive, tenacity, confidence, attentiveness, and love for your craft. You said you were going to book this role, and you did that!! We are forever thankful to God for our boundless blessings, bc of him, Scarlett is able to achieve the dreams, that are meant to be hers. We are forever praising YOU. Thank you to our incredible team, who believe in this girl!!”
On September 18th, she shared a behind-the-scenes video of her in the General Hospital studio. She showed video of her walking through the halls, past some of the actors’ dressing rooms and onto the stage. She then showed her in the studio green room and with the hairdressers. She then promised more, captioning it “Stay tuned!”
In another post, Sharline said that Scarlett had a fun and successful singing lesson.
In other posts, she shares pictures of Scarlett being a kid and occasional gives life advice, like “Change your thoughts and you change your world.”
Spears is coming off a featured role in the live-action TV film Dora and the Search for Sol Dorado starring Samantha Lorraine as the iconic animated adventurer Dora the Explorer. Spears plays Dora as a little girl in flashback scenes.
She also made an appearance as the tantrum-throwing child in P!nk’s music video “Not Gonna Not Dance Again,” and episodes of the TV series Middlehood and Evil Lives Here: Shadows of Death. She has also been in several national commercials.
