Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash are making a heartfelt vow to reconnect, as the strain of juggling work, parenting, and reality TV begins to show in their marriage. Despite the humour they display on screen, sources close to the couple reveal mounting pressure behind closed doors, especially for Joe.
The couple, who share six children in their blended family, have been filming their BBC reality show at Pickle Cottage while navigating their busy professional lives. Stacey has been filming her hit show Sort Your Life Out and managing multiple business ventures, which has left Joe picking up more responsibilities at home.
“Joe is under immense pressure,” a source shared. “He’s doing a lot with the kids, and it’s taken a toll. There’s been tension and some bickering, but they’re committed to working through it.”

During a recent appearance on Celebrity Gogglebox, Joe jokingly told Stacey, “When the kids grow up, I’m going to the moon to get away from you,” prompting laughter—but insiders say the cracks are more serious. Their reality show previously documented a difficult moment when Joe arrived hours late to relieve Stacey for an important meeting, leaving her visibly upset. He’s also opened up on camera about his struggle with ADHD, seeking help to manage it.
Stacey, 35, has admitted she sometimes feels helpless. “I would love to know what I can actually do to support him… I try my hardest but I think sometimes I probably escalate the situation,” she said.

Despite the challenges, the pair—who married in 2022 after meeting on I’m A Celebrity—are determined to focus on what brought them together. “They’ve vowed to take time this summer to reconnect and remind themselves why they’re so good together,” the insider said.
Their second season has already begun filming, but the couple are hoping to carve out moments away from the cameras to protect the core of their relationship.
