Ollie first appeared last summer as a client and later love interest of Dee Dee Bailey. After his low key arrival it emerged his family including stepmum Eva Price were the new power players behind The Rovers Return.
In recent months Ollie has taken a quieter role while his brother Will Driscoll grooming ordeal dominated the spotlight. That changes in episodes airing on 22 and 23 July when the chef makes an announcement no one expected.

Luckily all is not lost. Leanne Battersby steps in and offers Ollie a chef role at Speed Daal which he gratefully accepts to the huge relief of his family.
According to a Corrie insider close to the family the Driscolls are nowhere near ready to say goodbye to Ollie. He has been a supportive and calming presence for everyone while the family battled through all the trouble with Will. Having him stay on the cobbles feels like a win.
But one question remains. Will Ben be happy to see his son working for a direct rival to the Rovers.
