DARK PAST RETURNS! Coronation Street Digs Up a Forgotten Death Plot — and Tracy’s Feud EXPLODES in Tonight’s Shocking Episode!
Coronation Street’s Tracy McDonald and Cassie Plummer have been at each other’s throats for ages, but the latest episode has seen their feud reach an explosive new level. If that’s not entertaining enough as it is, it also contains some references to long-forgotten stories from Corrie history.
The newest instalment of the ITV soap saw Cassie start her new job, working at the switchboard for Street Cars. Back the Barlow household, Tracy took a delivery for Ken — ignoring Amy’s comments about opening other people’s packages — and was annoyed to see it was Cassie replacing the wine she drank the other day.

While Amy thought it was thoughtful, Tracy raged that “once again, she wriggles free”.
Tracy went to Street Cars to exchange some barbed insults with Cassie, and while she was distracted, sneakily unplugged the phone.
Tim Metcalfe turned up a few hours later and found it weird that they had no jobs or missed calls for hours, and realised that the line had been disconnected. Cassie said it was “spiteful cow” Tracy trying to ruin her first day.
Tim wasn’t impressed, saying Cassie should’ve checked as she knows what Tracy’s like, and they talked about how to handle her.
Back at the house in the evening, Tracy continued to have a go at Cassie, saying she couldn’t just replace some wine and all is forgiven, as life isn’t that simple.
“Oh, like when you killed Kal Nazir?” Cassie replied. “Do you know on that occasion though, I don’t suppose a box of wine for his mother would cut it.”
“I had nothing to do with that fire. It was an accident and a tragedy,” Tracy replied.
After Amy went to bed, Cassie stuck the knife in further, telling Tracy: “I’ve heard you’re a dab hand with an ornament. Or was that an accident as well?”
That last bit references Charlie Stubbs, who died in 2007, while Kal was killed in 2015.
While the fire was indeed an accident, Tracy had everything to do with it, as she lit the candle that started it. Charlie’s death was not an accident, as Tracy actively murdered him.
If Cassie carries on, could she join the list of Tracy’s victims?
