THE SHEILD INCINERATED: KIT GREEN LEFT UTTERLY DEVASTATED AS SARAH PLATT IS FINALLY CAUGHT OUT BY THE LAW!

👶 Instant Dad! Kit Green Reeling Over Brutal Blindsided Arrest as He’s Forced to Parent Sarah’s Son!

The drama on Coronation Street has just hit a whole new level of messy. While fans are still processing the shock wave of Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) being dragged away in handcuffs during next week’s episodes, actor Jacob Roberts has opened up about the absolute hell his character, Kit Green, is about to endure.

Not only has his corrupt cover-up failed spectacularly, but the bent copper has just been handed the ultimate unexpected promotion: instant fatherhood!

A Massive Slap in the Face 🧼

Kit is set to be completely wrong-footed next Monday (July 20). Smug and confident, he thinks he’s successfully framed Gary Windass for Theo Silverton’s murder. But when the police swoop in and collar Sarah instead, Kit realizes DS Lisa Connor-Swain and the team have been working behind his back the entire time.

Speaking about the brutal blow, Jacob Roberts revealed:

“It’s a massive blow to his pride. Kit always has to prove himself right, he has to be the best and get one over on everyone. To have this happen behind his back, especially knowing that Swain and others were talking about it without him really hurts.”

And don’t expect him to take Lisa’s “friendly warning” to back off lightly. Kit is still furious over Lisa’s past failures with Becky, remembering how he was the one who actually saved Carla Connor-Swain. “For Swain to turn around, go completely behind his back and arrest Sarah without so much as a courtesy heads-up? It’s a massive slap in the face,” Jacob added.

From Bad Cop to Babysitter 🍼

With Sarah locked up on remand and eventually delivering a full, crushing confession to Lisa, Kit is left back at the flat to pick up the broken pieces. And by pieces, we mean Sarah’s young son, Harry!

Suddenly forced into full-on parenting mode, the bachelor detective is completely out of his depth. “This entire mess was thrown upon him without his choice and he’s forced to take the reins and parent,” Roberts teased.

So, is there any hope left for Weatherfield’s most toxic couple? Jacob hints the door isn’t completely shut—but Sarah needs to start playing ball. “Right now, he’s just trying to stay strong so she stays strong. I think there’s always a chance for them, but only if Sarah stops protecting other people. The problem with Sarah is that she doesn’t tell Kit everything.”

Can Kit survive diapers and toys while fighting to save his career? One thing is for sure: Orange is definitely the new Platt!
