Pete Wicks has sent dog lovers into a frenzy after confirming that Pete Wicks: For Dogs’ Sake is officially returning for a fourth series.
The former Strictly Come Dancing and TOWIE star shared the exciting news on Instagram alongside a teaser clip, revealing that filming is already underway. And Pete has made one thing very clear: he believes this could be “the best series yet”.
In the clip, Pete is seen arriving back at the Dogs Trust rehoming centre in Essex, ready to throw himself once again into the emotional world of rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming.
Announcing the comeback, Pete wrote: “It’s official – we are back! Series 4 of Pete Wicks: For Dogs Sake is underway and I think it’s gonna be the best series yet!”
He continued: “I am so blessed to be able to work alongside @dogstrust in the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of dogs in need… this is all I’ve ever wanted to do.”
Pete also promised viewers a deeply moving new run, adding: “We are travelling across the country bringing you the raw emotion and real stories of life at Dogs Trust, the beautiful dogs and the heroes who help.”
The new series will feature everything from pregnant rescue dogs to heartbreaking and heartwarming rehoming journeys. Fans will also get a special surprise, as Pete is set to travel overseas for the first time in a two-part special exploring how rescue work is done abroad with Dogs Trust partners.

U&W has confirmed that series four will include eight one-hour episodes, airing later this year. The two overseas specials are expected to follow in early 2027.
