Sam Thompson has shared another loved-up snap with girlfriend Talitha Balinska, and fans are now convinced the couple could be quietly planning their future together — with friends even revealing they have recently hinted at hopes of welcoming a baby in 2026.
The 33-year-old TV personality posted a cosy photo to his Instagram Story on Friday, beaming as he relaxed on the sofa with influencer girlfriend Talitha, 25, during a night in at home.
Leaning her head on Sam’s shoulder, Talitha pouted for the camera as the pair cuddled up for the sweet snap, with Sam simply adding a heart emoji as the caption.
The post comes just a week after the pair enjoyed a football date night, when Sam introduced Talitha to his beloved Chelsea FC at Stamford Bridge.
Before heading to the match, Sam shared a mirror selfie of the couple in matching blue jerseys, with Talitha rolling hers up to reveal her bronzed midriff.
He captioned the snap: “Game day baby!!!” before later joking outside the stadium: “Really trying to ruin my Christmas holidays Chelsea…” after the team drew 2-2 at home to Bournemouth.
Despite the disappointing result, the couple appeared closer than ever, with friends now hinting that their whirlwind romance may already be moving into its most serious phase yet — and that in private conversations they have even discussed starting a family.
The pair’s relationship has heated up rapidly over recent weeks, with the couple spending their first Christmas together last month.
Festive snaps showed them celebrating with Sam’s mum, his sister Louise, her fiancé Ryan Libbey and their four-year-old son Leo, with the loved-up pair even wearing matching red-and-white candy-cane pyjamas.
Sources close to the couple have now suggested that after such a family-focused festive season, Sam and Talitha have been talking more openly about their future — with some friends revealing they have hinted at plans to welcome a baby in 2026, believing it could be a life-changing year for them both.
Sam and Talitha finally confirmed their relationship in early December after months of dating following a reconnection.
They were originally set up by Sam’s friend and former Made In Chelsea co-star Reza Amiri-Garroussi, having first met in 2023 when Talitha modelled for Sam and Reza’s sunglasses brand Dinelli.
Although Sam was still with ex-girlfriend Zara McDermott at the time, the pair later reconnected when Talitha surprised him at his live show at the O2 Arena — and as one source told the Daily Mail, “the rest is history.”
Sam and Zara dated for almost five years, officially going public in May 2019 before splitting in December 2024.
Speaking recently on his Staying Relevant podcast with best friend Pete Wicks, Sam couldn’t hide his excitement about being officially off the market.
“I’ve got a girlfriend. I’ve got a girlfriend!” he laughed, while Pete joked: “We’ve lost him again to the dark powers of a woman.”
When asked about the moment he asked Talitha to be his girlfriend, Sam admitted the conversation was refreshingly simple.
“We just went for dinner and I said, ‘I really like you… I’d love to be your boyfriend,’” he explained, adding that while it wasn’t dramatic, it felt exactly right.
With their bond growing stronger by the week — and with whispers they’re planning to welcome a baby in 2026 — fans are now left wondering whether the loved-up couple are quietly laying the foundations for the next chapter of their lives, and whether next year really could change everything.
