Amanda Owen of Our Yorkshire Farm has addressed the possibility of having a tenth child.
The mum-of-nine, 51, is best known for appearing with her supersized brood and ex-husband Clive on the programme that has documented their lives on their farm in the Yorkshire Dales since 2018.
Amanda has nine children with her ex-husband, who she split with in 2022 – Raven, Reuben, Miles, Edith, Violet, Sidney, Anna, Clemmy, and Nancy.
Now she’s in the spotlight again with her children on her new show Our Farm Next Door, which documents the family’s renovation of a derelict farmhouse while still keeping on top of life at their existing farm.
Reflecting on the ‘exhilarating and wonderful time’ she has had as a mother of nine, Amanda said that while there ‘won’t be a tenth child’ because she is ‘too old now,’ she absolutely loves having children.
She told the iPaper: ‘I’m too old for that now. I couldn’t even if I wanted to. Is that fact a relief? No, not really. I love the chaos.’

Amanda added: ‘People say, “You must love having babies,” but actually no, I love having them as young adults and teenagers.
‘These are the best years, when you feel like you’re almost reliving your own childhood. It is the most exhilarating and wonderful time.’
The mum said she is now settling into a co-parenting relationship with her ex-husband, who ‘lives next door’.
She said that while they are on ‘civil’ terms, they ‘still bicker’.
Amanda opened up further about the pair’s relationship as they continue to work and co-parent together to OK! magazine, despite splitting.
She said: ‘What am I supposed to say, “We get on like a house on fire?” Well, if we did, we wouldn’t want to separate, would we?
‘He’s still the same annoying old Clive that he always was.
‘I’ve seen him just now, and he’s still annoying – I annoy him, and he annoys me.’

In August, it was announced that Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive and Kids had been commissioned for two more seasons by Channel 4.
Amanda said at the time: ‘I am beyond delighted that we have been given the opportunity to showcase this unique and beautiful part of our British countryside and for people to join us on our exciting journey through the restoration of our farm next door.
‘We’re grateful for Channel 4’s support and the effort and utter dedication of the film crew who have had to work in challenging weather conditions, coupled with the unimaginable chaos of both children and animals.
‘This is a programme that I am seriously proud of.’
A release date for the new season has yet to be announced.
